Our Kids Programs

At SCMMA, we believe that martial arts training provides children with valuable life skills that extend far beyond the mats. Our kids programs are designed to be fun, engaging, and educational, helping children develop physically, mentally, and socially.

Younger Kid's Jiu-Jitsu (5:30pm Tu/Th)

Our Younger Kid's Jiu-Jitsu program is specially designed for children ages 5-8. Through fun games and activities, children learn fundamental jiu-jitsu techniques, coordination, and listening skills in a safe and supportive environment. This program builds confidence while teaching effective self-defense skills appropriate for younger children.

Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday, 5:30 PM

Older Kid's Jiu-Jitsu (6:30pm Tu/Th)

Our Older Kid's Jiu-Jitsu program is designed for children ages 9-13. This program focuses on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals, teaching more advanced techniques while emphasizing the importance of respect, discipline, and perseverance. Students learn proper takedowns, control positions, and submissions in a safe, supervised environment.

Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday, 6:30 PM

Youth Striking ages 9+ (6:00pm Friday)

Our Youth Striking program focuses on teaching proper striking techniques including boxing, kickboxing, and Muay Thai fundamentals. This class helps youth develop coordination, power, speed, and effective striking defense. Students learn in a fun, high-energy environment that builds confidence and physical fitness. We do no allow youth to spar. Children under 9 need coach's approval to join.
